Prayer for me and a friend

My brothers and sisters, I ask that you pray for my application to prison ministry to pass the board. Also, that the Holy Spirit strengthens me and gives me the words to touch the heart of these lost prisoners.

Also, I have an 84-year-old friend who found last week he has lung cancer (he doesn't smoke) and it's spread. His wife went home to the Lord two years ago and he's alone. He knows the Lord, an his kids are supporting him, but he doesn't seem to care to fight the cancer.

Heavenly Father, may it be Your will that Bill can touch your children in all places. May you empower him to reach prisoners for your glory in Christ our Lord.
May every gift you have given him be used to it's fullest. Open his heart to show Your ways to achieve Your goals for him.
Amen.

May Bill's friend who knows You be given His hearts desire. If he is to come home to You, may he suffer no pain but be able to show Your power to all of those around him during this time. If he is to do more work for the kingdom, may you provide the miracle necessary for him to astound the doctors and his children with Your healing miracles.
We hold him up to you, Father, for all that is in Your will for him and ask for Your Mercy at this time for all of his loved ones and friends. IJN Amen.

Heavenly Father;

I add my prayer to those of my dear friends Bill and Laura.
You are a loving God, full of wisdom and mercy. You have protected our brother Bill from fearsome illnesses. May You now guide him in the ministry that You have called him to. Help him, LORD, to minister to those that need it, to present simply, lovingly and truthfully the Good News of Yeshua our Messiah.

And now Bill's friend needs Your healing power in his heart and in his body. Be pleased to watch over him and show Him Your Lovingkindness. We ask this in the Blessed Name of Our LORD and Savior, Yeshua.
