Did you miss it? It’s not too late!

If you missed our live coverage of the Ken Ham’s “State of the Nation – 2009” address, or if you experienced a quality issue, we deeply apologize. Due to the overwhelming interest in this first-ever webcast from the Creation Museum (over 85,000 people attempted to view the event live), our computers had difficulty keeping up! We praise God for the amazing number of viewers and hope that all will be able to come back to see it again here. It is important to realize that although America has more Christian resources and Bible colleges than ever in its history, the nation is on a spiritual downward spiral. What has happened? Why is the church not reaching the culture today as it has in the past? Don’t pass up this opportunity to hear firsthand from co-authors of the new book Already Gone!

Hi Vlad,

I share your concern for America however, I am a fifty year old American and I do not agree with Mr. Hamm's statements or his research.

I follow our culture very closely and I can tell you that 80% of our 300 million Americans call themselves Christians. 90% of Americans believe in God, Jehovah God.

Yes, we are having problems within our free society but they are not as bad as Mr. Hamm presents.

We are having problems because uneducated Americans elected our first Muslim President.

We are having problems because our Courts are Liberal leaning and dictating policy and not interpreting the Constitution as they are sworn to do.

We are having problems because atheists bring sucessful lawsuits into our Liberal leaning Courts.

We are having problems with the many evils that freedom brings with it.

We are having problems because liberals have infiltrated our schools, Univ. and Colleges.

Many surveys have been done as to why young people turn away from Christianity. The prevailing answer is that they find Christians within the church "too judgemental".

But, I have to tell you, Christians are ALIVE AND WELL AND REGROUPING AS TO HOW WE MOVE FORWARD DURING OUR PROGRESSIVE/MARXIST POWER GRAB AND FIRST MUSLIM PRESIDENT.

The world may be pleasantly surprised as we still have the strength, courage and leverage that our forefathers granted to us in their wisdom.

Please do not count us out as our foundation is still strong and our children may not like the judgmental "church ladies" in church but have not turned away from Jehovah God.

I am not sure if Mr. Hamm is my countryman. He doesn't sound American unless he is a "naturalized citizen".

When I watched this, I felt like ....here we go again....let's blame America and not just America but American Christians for everything.

American Christians get the blame for everything world wide, why shouldn't Mr. Hamm just get on the bashing band wagon. Maybe it's because President Bush is out of office and he can't blame Bush anymore.

This isn't directed at you Vlad, this is directed at Mr. Hamm. I am sure he meant well, but he is not building and editify this church in America as he was charged by Paul in the gospel to do.

Please don't count us out. Just like in "Horton Hears A Who"...."WE ARE HERE, WE ARE HERE !"

Yours in Yeshua,
Mary

Hi Vlad,

Please know that my post above was not directed at you. I am impressed by your history, knowledge, posts and most of all, your love of the Lord.

I think Mr. Hamm, like many church leaders try to understand why college age so many times, drift away from the church. I think this is a natural thing and that most make it back as the Word of The Lord never returns void. Most young American's will drift, research, and search but most find their way back.

May I ask all to pray for America as we are in the middle of a huge power grab.

We have a Progressive/Marxist regime trying to restructure our government and purposely tank our economy. It is very evil.

Mary

I know its not towards me. We all have diff opinions. I do agree with him to a certain extant because I am a young person. I did not grow up in the Church but I do know many young people who have been in Church since young and now they are proffesing atheists. It is realy sad. America def has a lot of Christians but the secualr media is not allowing us to see the fruits of those ministries. I remember other polls that were done a while back where a lot of people were proffesing Christians but denied the resurection or believe in many paths to God. I just pray that the Christians will stand up and speak for truth in America. Thanks Mary for a diff perspective.

In our church--our grandaughter included--the teens hear how they should act, talk and dress as born again Christians, but they don't seem to want to follow the rules of the Bible.

My wife just said today that the kids today do not read their Bibles well enough. I believe this to be true. Our grandaughter had her bellybutton pierced. Her girl friends [in our church] have done the same thing. They get tattoed, although not much or anything against the Lord [butterflies, crosses, etc.], and they get noses and ears pierced.

These are the things the world does! Christians are not supposed to do these things. My wife said when she was born again at 9, filled with the Holy Ghost at 17, she turned away the world. Today the kids seem to want to "blend in." Why? We--Christians--are to be set apart.

The Lord said that His Word will not depart or go unnoticed, or will it go unheard [my parapharaze].

There are many people who say they "believe" but if you ask them what they really believe, they often will be vague about "God" and "Jesus" and might not even be aware that there is a Trinity. Nevertheless, I think that at some point, they will have no choice but to look at what has become of their nation and take a stand for Christianity. I agree with Mary. it is not too late for Americans, nor for Canadians, for that matter. There is a quiet revival afoot. God is working in our nations. Still, I think that we are in trouble for exactly the reasons that Mary pointed out. We as Christian nations (I am Canadian), have abandoned our founding principles for the most part.

As Bill said, "These are the things the world does! Christians are not supposed to do these things. My wife said when she was born again at 9, filled with the Holy Ghost at 17, she turned away the world. Today the kids seem to want to "blend in." Why? We--Christians--are to be set apart."

Indeed. God help our nations to see the truth before it is too late.
