We can never, ever discount God in an equation. Just when it appeared the Ezekiel 38-39 war would be delayed because of a more "talk first, shoot later" Mir Hossein Mousavi running against hardliner (to say the least) Iranian Pres. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran, the clerics take over and rig the election ... I believe to put in who God wants, not who they necessarily want. Ahmadinejad makes no secret of his desire to attack Israel. Even they believe his threats. And his gum-batting at America is not really fruitless. The Bible mentions what appears to be nuclear bombs going off in the U.S. in Revelation. Russia has proven that its army is back up to snuff, so to speak. And it certainly is no secret Russia has been a huge assist in Iran's nuclear power gain. "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog (Russia), 'Thus says the Lord God': "On that day when my people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? "Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. "You will come up against my people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes" [Ez. 38:14-16, NKJV). From my studies on prophesy and looking at everything I can get my hands on regarding the subject, it is my humble opinion this is the sign that the church will be taken up just before or right after this battle God will carry out and win. Why? Because Iran is a key player in fulfilling this Scripture. Irag is also a key to the antichrist. The Arabs have built a city they would like to copy in Irag. As quickly as they can get the Americans out of there, I believe they will begin building up to fulfill Scripture regarding Babylon as described in Rev. 14. Iraq leadership, such as it is, cuddles up to Ahmadinejad. He is promising the Iraqis much. But can he deliver? I have said this many times before, and will repeat it until I can't talk or type: the Ezekiel war will be so massive and armies so great it will number in the millions. Syria, Turkey and all the northern countries will go against Israel. Egypt, Saudia Arabia, Irag, Iran ... all of the Arabic countries, will join in. The death toll will be complete. God does nothing half way. It will require seven months (What seven? The Tribulation years.) to bury all the dead [Ez.39:11-20]. After this there will be a peace made with Israel, a false one, as usual. There will be such a massive power void the antichrist will come to power. Where is the Church during all this? In heaven. According to the Scriptures, I believe the Rapture will take place, as I said above, either right before this battle or just after. Text leans more toward just "before" the battle, and so do I. Rev. 3:10: "Because you have kept My comand to perservere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." In Yeshua, Bill

Bill, today, as I was watching the events unfold in the streets of Iran, I was again struck by how precise the Bible is. We are looking at prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes. The more literally we take Scripture, the more sense it makes. Keep looking up, for "our redemption draweth nigh". ---------- Loving the LORD more every day Hannah123aka Audrey

Hello Bill and Audrey! Bill, i agree with you, this is also how i understand the prophecies on the battle of Ezekiel and the rapture, God says what He means and means what He says, right now, we see it all unfold quickly and it is dramaticly happening, Babylon Irak will be revived for the merchants already involved in rebuilding the city of Nabuchadnetsar, we could very well be seeing the U.N. move its buildings there with the formation of the one world religion, army, currency, etc etc. Good job bro! Irag is the old Babylon. The antichrist, whom I truly believe is alive today, will come out of the European Union. He will be Catholic. Rome will be the headquarters of the antichrist, the perverted church. Following the antichrist going to Israel to delcare himself the Christ in the Temple, there will be an earthquake to nearly level Jerusalem, and shake the world. Following his "soiling" of the Jewish temple, which I believe will be built either just before the war in Ez. 38, or during the seven years of Tribulation that will follow the war, he will make a pact with Israel. The treaty with Israel will only last, as most of you know, three-and-a-half years. The antichrist will leave the temple, but not before his sidekick erects a statue of him. God runs him out and from there he goes to Babylon. This city will be built nearly overnight. It will headquarter not only the antichrist, ole Satan himself, but the world financial system. From there antichrist will control the world economic system, but only for 3 1/2 years. That's when our Lord and King comes back to earth to whip that ole Satan and rule for a thousand years. During the Trib, an estimated 3 billion people will die, either from the vials poured out, the earthquake in Israel, or from a plague of the two witnesses. This is also when the two witnesses are killed, after they preach and torment the earth for 3 1/2 years. They will lay in the streets of Jerusalem 3 and a half days. God will bring them back alive and take them up. CNN and FOX will have a high ole time, and still won't believe. "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth" (Rev. 11:3, KJV). Rev. 11:6--"These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will." Where will we Christ followers be? At a wedding. We will be judged by Christ for what we have done on this earth and given crowns, or have it burned, but we will not lose our salvation. And we will be dressed in white robes for the great marriage of the church to the King of kings and Lord of lords, and the High Priest. Audrey, truly our redemption does draw neigh. And Serge, you're right about the U.N. They move to Iraq. It is already nearly weighed down with Arab countries, Russia, Syria [Watch the news. They're next.], Turkey and all the coutries lying north of Israel. It's getting more and more difficult each day to get any positive vote from the U.N. for Israel. And support of Israel is wanning quickly. The more I study Ezekiel, Daniel, the New Testament Scriptures on this issue, and Revelation [I am gathering an arsenal of information to truly study Revelation. What a guy, that John!], the more I realize the sand is running faster and faster through the hour glass 'til that day of our redemption. Truly this is no time NOT to be deep in the Word of God and the Holy Ghost. We need to reach as many souls as we can. Our time draws near daily. Amen and Amen. Your Servant, Bill

Hi, Bill and all; Your eschatological interpretation is what I have usually seen, Bill, but I would like to have you consider a point of view provided by a Muslim who converted to Christianity - Walid Shoebat. He is an ex-terrorist of Palestinian descent. He claims that the Roman Empire had "2 legs" (Daniel's vision). They are the Western and the Eastern leg. Constantinople was the head of the Empire for many years following the fall of Rome. He thinks the anti-Christ will come from there - Turkey (where Constantinople - modern Istanbul - is located). He also contends that Islam is the "anti-Christ" in that they behead Christians, hate and want to anihilate the Jews, and believe in the Mahdi, their Messiah who is eerily like the Anti-Christ of the Bible. As concepts go, it's intriguing, don't you think??By the way, Walid was a featured speaker during at Chuck Missler strategy session in April. --------- Loving the LORD more every day Hannah123aka Audrey

Hey audrey, I've seen Walid speak before. Daniel 11 King of the North (Syria, north of Israel within ancient Assyria) So this would make Bashar Al-Asad of Syria the anti- christ. This site has a large study on the anti-christ. http://www.profoundprophecy.com/index.htmlChris

According to the Bible, the antichrist will be a gay fella who puts on that he's a "regular guy." He plays church, but is really anti-God. (Could be some of the politicians right here in the U.S.!) Revelation and Daniel speaks of him being in Rome under the old Roman Empire countries, but not being Italian. The Bible seems unclear (to me at this point) from which country exactly he will come out of, but what Audrey stated could be the case because the Empire did have "two legs." I once felt the Muslims would be the dominant religion for the very same reasons Audrey mentioned: the beheadings. The Muslims are the only religion in this century who do behead. However, as I understand it, the dominant religion is not necessarily the ones who carry out the antichrist's decrees. Syria will definately plays a big part in the last days, and certainly is one of the countries who joins the armies in Ez. 38 who God will pull to march on Israel. Syria has been a pain in Israel's neck for centuries. Their nuclear program says volumns. I was listening to Dr. Jimmy DeYoung on the John Ankerberg Show Sunday and he said that Tony Blair of England is a prime example of the antichrist. DeYoung said, "Let me be perfectly clear: I'm not calling Tony Blair the antichrist. All I'm saying is, everything Blair has accomplished and done is EXACTLY what the antichrist will do. If [you] want a good picture of the antichrist, follow Blair's life to date." DeYoung said Blair has turned Catholic; has become a big player in the European Union; has advocated a one world monitary system, and a one world currency; and he has many times been to Rome to "discuss" his opinions with the Pope. The antichrist will be based in Rome for a while. Then he will move to occupy the temple in Jerusalem. Following Gods huge earth quake, he will flee to Babylon. It is from there he will develop his world economical and military dominance. (It's my opinion the U.N. will move from the U.S. to Irag. Not surprising when you think the majority of countries in that Godless outfit vote against Israel and the U.S.) Ezekiel is very clear on the "king of the north." It is Gog, or Russia. One must go back to Noah to see who these keys players really are. All the countries of the north have basically forsaken God after the flood. Syria, Turkey, Russia and several other countries that lie north of Israel. In listening to a Jewish Christian show a few weeks ago, they spoke of the Ezekiel war, it's key in the return of Christ for His church, and regarding the end times. Certainly Syria was in that discussion, but the advocate of the war will be Russia with the old Persia, Iran. I can see where Walid was coming from, but I have to stick with the Bible. Genesis, Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, John and Revelation provides a different picture. And as Rod always points out: "keep your eyes on Israel." She's in the news daily anymore. And so is Iran. The bottom line is: the church isn't going to be around to see all this come down. Bill

Hi Bill,Audrey, Serge, Chris & All, Thank you for all this information! I love to study to understand this subject as well. Quick question, Bill, what specific scripture in Rev. are you refering to concerning a nuc. going off in the U.S.? Joel 3:11 Hasten and come, all you nations round about, gather yourselves there. Bring down the warriors, O Lord. Praying for God to hasten the time, Mary

The Scriptures (I've been digging for ya, Mary) never speak directly about the U.S. However, Ezekiel 38, 39 speaks of the "lion and little lions." The lion is England, and the little lions are any countries they own or have owned: the U.S. is one. I believe the little speech in Ez. 38:13 points to the "lion and little lions." It reads: "Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the [young lions] thereof, shall say unto thee, 'Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?'" Doesn't this just sound like something Pres. Obama would say? Let's face it: the U.S., Canada and other "little lions," as well as "the lion," are in no financial or military condition to go against an army of about a dozen powerful nations hostile toward America and the Jews. Daniel and Revelation speaks of a kinda "fire" to fall "on the coasts." I do not believe our just God will allow the nation once settled and that lived for Him, and has since Israel's becoming a nation [as outlined in Ezekiel 37-39] turned its back on Him, will not suffer punishment. In fact, I believe the U.S. already is reaping His rath: Stock market plunge; rising unemployment and inflation; "gay rights"; removal of the Bible, prayer and 10 Commandments from schools; kids killing parents; parents killing kids; high divorce, even among the churched; kids taking parents to court; disrespect of parents toward kids and kids to parents; floods like no other time in history, or in places that have not flooded in 100 to 200 years; hurricanes and tornadoes that have quadrupled in number; diseases they can find no cure for; plague after plague that has people perplexed; extreme weather changes; and last but no less least, the free-for-all at our boarders. The U.S. has allowed terrorists to enter this country, like those who put planes into the towers in New York City, the Pentagon and were heading for the White House before Christians and others put the plane into a Pennsylvania field, totally unchecked. No nation under God can turn its back on Him and get away with it. The Bible is a road map of the future, and the idiots in Washington don't believe it. What keeps Iran from tossing a nuke at our shores? The Bible states that the shorelines will not be safe. What keeps some lunatic, godless kook from setting a nuke somewhere in New York City and it going off? Nothing, if that's a punishment tool of God ... absolutely nothing! Muslims have converged on the U.S. Have they once demonstrated for America? They have for their respective countries, but not once for America. What's that tell you? Bill

Hi Bill, Thank you for pointing me to these scriptures. I will pray and read concerning this subject. If you find anything else, I will be interested in the specifics. I know that God always has righteous men within cultures, even ours, so I am sure there are many, like yourself, that God sees Yeshua and not Bill and thus has mercy on us. (Romans 11:4 But what is God's reply to him? "I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Ba'al.") I am confident to say that in America, there is at least, 7 times 7 thousand that have found their righteousness thru their faith in the Lord Yeshua. I am not counting our their/our righteousness but God's mercy and his righteousness and promise that He no longer sees us, but his Son, Yeshua. Chris, I am at a loss at your post. I could say "Pearl Harbor" and the horrible aggression that Japan was persuing against many nations at that time in history, but you obviously have your view of history. Bill & Vlad, count me in in wanting Yeshua to come Now, well, NOW, well, please LORD... NOW!!! Mary

Hi, Chris, I'll check out that website. Thanks. Bill, The phrase in Daniel 11:37 "Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all." might not necessarily mean he will be gay (although he might...) but it might mean that he will not regard the one that all Jewish women desired to become mother of - that is the Messiah. It might also mean that he will not regard ANY god, but will worship him self. Just a few thoughts on that. Also, The anti-Christ is described as an Assyrian in Isaiah 10:5 :O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation." Isaiah also talks about the Assyrian in Chapters 10 and 31, and Hosea in Chapter 11. Assyria was wiped out and is now part of Northern Iraq (Mosul stands where Nineveh once was). Could there be something there? I love to look at different ways of interpreting passages. I tend to believe as you do, Bill, but I keep finding intriguing passages. I look forward to your thoughts, my brother. Blessings ---------- Loving the LORD more every day Hannah123aka Audrey
