And he said, ‘I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. (I Kings 19:10)Can we even begin to imagine how Elijah must have felt thinking he is the only one left taking a stand for the LORD? Was there anybody else out there? Somebody he could count on to take a stand for the LORD with him?
Can we imagine how the Pastor of this Ministry must feel sometimes - when all the supporters, the partners seem to be disappearing? LORD forbid that anyone should seek to take his life away!
The thief comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. The thief does not like the Word of God being spread so he tries anything to stop this ministry from doing so - even “freezing the accounts on the website” (see VOD sites).
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: Our support is so desperately needed - especially in times like these! How shall we give?
In II Corinthians 9 we can find some good advice about giving.
Paul points out that we should give as is in our hearts and that God loves a cheerful giver. There is no sense in giving because someone has told us to so or because we will get something in return.
Our gift can help to meet the needs of saints. But it will even reach far beyond that. People in need will hear the Word of God, will be fed, and will be cared for! Many of these people will
send thanksgiving to Heaven
glorify God
be so thankful someone called them important enough to care for them.
