Back here in Pennsylvania in Clarion County they have a boar hunting club.
They have a lot of wild boars and other animals in a coral, and they have hundreds of acres of fenced in forest.
They then let the Boars out into the forest and the rich people from the cities or wherever come and shoot them.
They have to set in tree mounts, but to me this is just senceless killing for the rich. It is by far NOT hunting. It is just mass killing for sprot.

My question is if you are a Christian should you participate in something like this.
Hunting for food is one thing, but killing for sport is something else in my opinion...
What does the Bible say about this if anything?
Jesus Bless!

I too am from Pennsylvania, the center sector. Hunting was and is a way of life. I grew up on a Centre Co. farm and hunted from the time I could go in the fields and woods with my dad and other relatives. Sure, I ate what I shot, but there was, and always has been, a recreation to being outdoors in the woods, along only farm fencerows, and along streams, rivers and on lakes and ponds. I have been an outdoor writer/journalist for 41 years and never regretted a day in the field. I have not always killed something, but those with me perhaps did. I have been a born-again person in Christ for 30 years, and I wrote weekly for Him for 17 years. Hunting is in the Bible. So is fishing. However, I'm no more going to get into a spitting battle over this than I would over Bible trivia. Neither makes intellectual sense ... to me, at least. Either one understands it or one does not. However, I will say this: I'm no advocate of the type of "hunting" you stated.
